vain glory

Vain Glory

Vainglory is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game developed and published by Super Evil Megacorp for iOS and Android devices. The game is a simplified version of the PC-based genre wherein two opposing teams of three players fight to destroy the enemy base by controlling the path between the bases, which is lined by turrets and guarded by AI controlled enemy creatures. Off the path, players battle for control points that supply extra resources. The game was released for iOS in November 2014, after being soft-launched for over half a year, with the Android version being released in July 2015.
The game's development started in 2012 upon the forming of Super Evil Megacorp. The game was unveiled at Apple's September 2014 iPhone 6 announcement event to demonstrate the platform's Metal graphics API. Super Evil Megacorp attempted to make a game that would entertain players for hours and encourage in-person multiplayer experiences similar to that of a LAN party.
Vainglory received generally favorable reviews. Critics praised the game's graphics, characters, and level design, but criticized its lack of team communication features. Reviewers disagreed on the game's degree of accessibility to newcomers, part of the reason why it received mixed reviews.

salad finger facts

The series ended on 24 November 2013, eight months short of a decade. There were just ten short episodes.

Salad Finger
Salad Fingers is a British flash animation internet series created by David Firth in July 2004. It gained rapid internet popularity, such that the San Francisco Chronicle ranked it among the "Top 10" pop culture phenomena for 2005.
The cartoon revolves around the eponymous "Salad Fingers", a thin, green, mentally troubled alien who inhabits a desolate world with three lifeless, scruffy finger puppets. The first seven episodes of Salad Fingers were shown back-to-back in Australia at the 2007 Sydney Underground Film Festival at the Factory Theatre, along with a variety of other animated short films, during the "Re-Animation" session.

Salad Fingers is the main protagonist of the series by the same name. He is a bald, hunchbacked human/mutant with light-green skin and no visible nose or ears, who speaks with a distorted Lancastrian accent. His long, strangely-shaped fingers are his most notable feature, which the skin of said fingers can be pulled back to reveal an underskin layer. They were the focus of the first episode of the series, where Salad Fingers is shown getting pleasure from rubbing various objects, particularly rusty metallic ones such as spoons, a doorbell panel, and a kettle. Salad Fingers is unable or unwilling to distinguish between living beings and inanimate objects, and is frequently found talking to various inert articles (notably his finger puppets and in two cases a human corpse, it is also assumed that Salad Fingers cannot understand the concept of death, or is merely unwilling to accept it.). He also talks to his radio in one episode. Furthermore, he often assigns such objects proper names and appears to believe that they can communicate with him directly, sometimes voicing their perceived thoughts himself.
He lives alone in a small shack (containing, among other things, an oven, bedroom, safety cupboard, radio, phone, and table) with the number 22 on the door. Salad Fingers appears to be masochistic, as he can be seen taking pleasure from impaling his finger on a nail, rubbing stinging nettles on himself or stepping onto a bear trap. Salad Fingers also seems ignorant of other people's misfortunes or suffering at his own hand, as seen when the Varsity Jacket Wearing Boy is burnt to death within his oven. His talents include playing the flute, speaking French, and freely manipulating his teeth. He also seems able to use Morse code, as shown in episode nine, where he must inform others of a strange illness he has (which he refers to as scarlet fever). He is quite articulate, however he often spouts peculiar English sayings and phrases in situations where they do not fit or even seem relevant. Salad Fingers takes up various habits, including a regular measurement of the distance between his house and a tree, tasting of the dirt ("floor-sugar"), and listening to his radio. Sometimes he also displays a raspy asthmatic-like breathing when he becomes mesmerized at something or experiences extreme pleasure. The name "Salad Fingers" was invented by Firth's co-writer, Christian "Crust" Pickup, who described Firth as having "salad fingers" while playing the guitar.

Ariana Grande-Butera (born June 26, 1993), known professionally as Ariana Grande , is an American singer and actress. She began her career in the Broadway musical 13, before landing the role of Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon television series Victorious in 2009. The show ended after four seasons, and Grande starred on the spinoff, Sam & Cat, which ended in 2014. She has also appeared in other theatre, television and film roles, and has lent her voice to animated television and films.
Grande's music career began with the soundtrack Music from Victorious (2011). She signed a recording contract with Republic Records and released her debut studio album, Yours Truly in 2013, which debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200. The album's lead single, "The Way", debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, with critics comparing her wide vocal range to Mariah Carey's range.
Grande's second studio album, My Everything (2014), debuted at No. 1 in the US and charted in the top 10 in various other countries. With the singles "Problem", "Break Free", "Bang Bang" and "Love Me Harder" from that album, she spent 34 continuous weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and had the most top 10 singles of any artist in 2014. In 2015, Grande promoted My Everything with her first world tour, The Honeymoon Tour, and guest-starred in the Fox comedy horror television series, Scream Queens. She also released the single "Focus", which debuted at No. 7 in the US, and a holiday EP album, Christmas & Chill, and she was heard on several collaborative projects. In 2016, she released her third studio album, Dangerous Woman, as well as several songs from the album. The title track debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, making Grande the first person in the history of that chart to have the lead single from each of her first three albums debut in the top 10. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. As of January 2017, Grande's music videos had been viewed a total of more than 7 billion times online.
